Material will be provided by MWA so no material fees.
As this project is a community service, there will be no class fees.
There is a $1 registration "fee" that will be refunded at the class. The PayPal system does not allow a $0 fee registration
This class would be great for beginners and intermediate turners, join in for a great cause.
Linda Ferber will lead this hands-on class that will detail the process of turning a wig stand. The size function and finishes are determined by the charities where they are being donated.
The wig stands will be donated to charity, as this is a learning and community service venture by MWA chapter members.
All skill levels are welcomed, if you have these tools, please bring them to class: Spindle gouge, bowl gouge, spindle roughing gouge, parting tool and skew. The woods and sandpaper will be provided. Bring your protective gear, Face shield, dust mask,etc..
