Want to turn tops??  Want to learn how to turn ball and cup games?
Turner extraordinaire Bob Jensen will be teaching a class to show you how to make these projects that are guaranteed to bring hours of enjoyment to the kids in your life (and even the big kids).  Bob turns hundreds and hundreds of tops a year and many, many ball and cup games.  This class is limited to 8 people.  If enough people sign up, we may be able to schedule another class. 
Date:  March 26, 2016
TIme:  9am - 3am  (plenty of time to turn 2 or 3 tops and a few ball and cup games)
Where:  Rick Auge's shop - Shoreview, MN
Wood needed:
Bob will supply the top blanks and show you how he makes them.  Bob will also supply the ball and string for the ball and cup game.  Wood you need to bring are 2 or 3 pieces of 2 x 2 x10 or larger wood.  Nothing larger than 2.5 x 2.5 x 12,
1 spindle roughing gouge, & spindle gouges,various sizes (or just one if that is what you have) (we will also have some to use)
Parting tool
Skew  (ball and cup games are great for using the skew)
Facemask and safety glasses are required
Optional tools if you have them:
Sandpaper,  calipers  1 3/8" forstner bit and #2 morse taper drill chuck  (some will be available to use if you don't have these)
