After the morning meeting you will have a chance to go out and get some lunch, The class will start by 12:30 or earlier if everyone is present and ready to go.

This class is about turning accurate fitted leg tenons, repeatable spindles, practice turning with the guidance of a professional woodturner, Beads, Coves Etc, Learn what tools to use when and how to use them.

Hands on class on how to turn repeatable beads and coves on the legs. The seat is turned in bowl orientation and demonstrates how to turn flat plane and edge sculpting. How to accurately drill angled holes for legs to be inserted in the seat.

Note: the blanks for this class will be pre-drilled for you.

Tool list for 3 leg stool-

If you have a steb center that is less than 1" diameter, to class, The club has the oneway safety driver for each lathe but the steb center will work better

3/8 bowl gouge, 1/2 will work

3/8 or 1/2 spindle gouge

Spindle roughing gouge

Parting tool

Skew

Ruler and pencil

2 calipers if possible.
