LEARN TO MAKE CONCENTRIC REPEATABLE BEADS AND COVES WITH A SPINDLE GOUGE.
This is a spindle turning class, as in tool handles, chair legs, other furniture. Or any bead cove embellishment on any turning.

Tom Gulcher, a professional spindle turner, is going to teach a hands-on turning class to show you how to turn a decorative spindle and then duplicate it. This is a great class to attend. There are many projects that can be done from the techniques Tom will show you. One excellent project is a small stool with turned legs that will be able to do after taking this class. Tom does architectural turning to replicate spindles and columns for homes and buildings. He will show you the tips and techniques to duplicate a spindle. This is a good class for beginners, intermediates and advanced turners.
Wood Needed: Supplied for class participants
Tools: Roughing gouge, spindle gouges (various sizes), parting tool, skew (Tom is really good with the skew), tape measure, pencil and calipers. (We will have some gouges available for use if you don't have the right equipment.
