Hardware Less lazy Susan cake plate.
This is a two part project involving making a pedestal base that marbles fit in to, and a flat cake plate top.

This is a Thursday class.
Tools needed 3/8 or larger spindle gouge, 3/8 or larger bowl gouge. If you have Easywood or Hunter tools bring them, they can be used in place of the spindle gouge.
Optional tools: round nose scraper, negative rake scraper. If you do not have these tools and want to see how they work, just ask.
Other tools I will demonstrate are the Hunter tools, I have a few that you can use if you would like after you see the demo.
The wood for this project is birch and was donated by Reed Jacobs.
If you want to use your own wood, you will need Stabil dry wood. One piece should be 5X5X2" the other 12 X 12X a minimum of 1" thick.
No exotics please.
Time is 9:30 until 4 at the latest. If you have tools that you need help sharpening please be here by no later than 9am.
